BEHIND THE LYRICS: “ANT MAN”

One day Maury was sitting in his living room watching T.V. with pen and paper in hand. "I wanted to write a song but I did not have a topic." Suddenly an ant crawled across the T.V. screen. "It did not seem that strange to me so I ignored the ant." The ant found its way crawling up Maury's pant leg and when it got to his knee, Maury just blew it off his pants and did not think it to be too strange. A few minutes later the ant crawled across the T.V. screen again and finally Maury made the connection. "This ant needs a song to be written about it. I explored my feelings for ants and found that I always liked them. Thusly I composed the tune "Ant Man."
